One of the most tough open wheeler championship, if not thoughest one: with its 41 drivers on the grid the F.4 Italia Championship collects the most talented young drivers, mainly coming from karting. The DR Formula driver Raul Guzman scored three podiums and is currently second in championship.
Great start for DR Formula at Misano for the F.4 Italia Championship 2016: the Mexican Raul Guzman is second in the overall classification just behind Mick Schumacher, thanks to 58 points earned througout the last week-end.
Guzman finished in second place the first race of the week-end starting from the 7th position, and closing the race with just 1.3 seconds of disadvantage from the winner. The Mexican stressed too much his tyres, being unable to overtake the leader who has conducted a consistent race. The battle for the first victory of the season took place during race 3, when Guzman replied a great comeback from the 7th place winning the race ahead of Siebert and Van Uitert. Another podium came in race 4 when the Mexican driver passed in third position under the chequered flag.
Petrov Artem scored a 21st place and a 14th place respectively in race 1 and race 2, at last, in race 4 he retired due to a collision after 10 laps.
Now the team is getting ready for the second round that will take place at Adria on May 8th 2016.
